Account Information: Name and email address when you register or sign in with Google.
Profile Data: Age, height, weight, gender, activity level, and calorie goals that you provide.
Food & Meal Logs: Food items, meals, and calorie entries you log within the app.
Weight Logs: Weight entries you record over time.
Device Information: Device type and operating system, used for ad serving and analytics.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and personalize the CalorieIQ experience.
To calculate nutrition goals and track your progress.
To sync your data across sessions via Firebase.
To display relevant advertisements via Google AdMob.
To send optional push notifications (reminders, streaks) if you enable them.

3. Firebase (Google)

We use Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore (provided by Google) to securely store your account and health data. Your data is stored under your unique user ID and is not accessible to other users. For more, see Firebase Privacy Policy.

4. Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements in the app. AdMob may collect and use data such as your device's advertising ID to show personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device settings. For more, see Google Privacy Policy.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

Google Firebase — for data storage and authentication.
Google AdMob — for serving advertisements.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data from within the app at any time (Profile → Delete Account).

7. Children's Privacy

CalorieIQ is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including Firebase security rules that ensure only you can access your own data.

You have the right to:

Access the data we hold about you.
